Epiceram Skin Barrier Emulsion
  1. Provides bulk replenishment of physiologic lipids that are reduced in the stratum corneum in patients with atopic dermatitis (AD)
  2. Replenishes the skin with ceramide, a key lipid that is lacking in the stratum corneum in patients with AD
  3. Delivers an optimal 3:1:1 ratio of ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids to normalize skin barrier function
  4. Forms a vapor-permeable barrier that allows for metabolic responses that repair the skin
  5. Normalizes pH in the stratum corneum
